First of all, apologies for not posting yesterday. I was at a Christmas party and didn’t have time to post, plus being really tired from work made me not want to upload. I just wanted to sit back and relax.
That day off was extremely beneficial and exactly what was needed. I feel much better and ready to post again, so let’s go!
Today I wanted to talk to you about my favourite Christmas Movie. the reason being, when I tell people the Christmas Movie I love and adore the most, no one seems to have heard of it, and although this is biased, I think they should.
So, hopefully I can convince you all to give this a watch as soon as this post is over. I hope you can tell how passionate I am about this.
The movie I am referring to is The Christmas Card and before anyone asks, it is a TV Movie, but don’t be put off by that.
Let me explain.
The Christmas Card follows Cody Cullen, a US Soldier who one Christmas receives a card thanking him for his service and when sent on leave the following year, finds himself unknowingly in the town in which the card originally came from.
After what should have been a quick trip for a lonely traveler turns into a holiday to remember when he, without realising, saves and stays with the family of Faith, the person who sent the card in the first place.
Cody gains something he hadn’t had in a long time, a family, but will he let them know about the card? And will it make a difference to Faith or is her mind already made up about someone else?
Who knows! Well I do, but I want you to find out also, so cue the mystery!
This heartwarming tale will most definitely put you in the Festive Spirit and have you smiling from the word go.
It is the perfect recipe for a Christmas Movie. It has humor, a wonderful cast of characters and a plot which is different to any other you will have seen.
I’m not usually one for romance, and if you’re like me, you may not also, but you know what, with this, you will be surprised!
There you go! Hopefully you want to give it a go. If not, I will try again next year.
If you decide, yes you want to watch it, it is currently on 5 on Demand and plays on the Christmas Movie channels often so please do take a look!
